I found my word for 2012.
It's Greek and means to redeem.
More specifically it means...
- To redeem by payment of a price, to recover from the power of another, to ransom, buy off
- To make wise and sacred use of every opportunity for doing good, so that zeal and well doing are as it were the purchase money by which we make the time our own.
1.
a : to buy back : repurchase2 : to free from what distresses or harms: as
b : to get or win back
a : to free from captivity by payment of ransom3 : to change for the better : reform
b : to extricate from or help to overcome something detrimental
c : to release from blame or debt : clear
d : to free from the consequences of sin
4 : repair, restore
Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,
making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
Ephesians 5:15-17
The words in italics come from this Greek word, exagorazo.
What do I want to redeem this year? Just a few things would include...
- Redeem time away from lesser things.
- Redeem relationships with my children and family. Buttercup will become a teenager this year!
- Redeem my health and fitness. I've lost 40+ pounds and want to keep that momentum going.
- Redeem my priorities.
I pray you all have a blessed and safe last day of 2011.

Good word.
